Debut and Intercontinental ChampionEdit

JZ made his debut in OCW by teaming up with DJ Hero and Razzo in a losing effort to Caesar Dan , Pletcher and The Ninja. JZ would go on to beat Pletcher in a non-aired match to earn a Intercontinental Title match at Extreme Rules. He would go on to beat Pletcher and become Intercontinental Champion. JZ would successfully defend the title at TLC in a Fatal 4 Way ladder match against Pletcher, Archangel and Omega . JZ would go on to the Royal Rumble

 where he'd compete twice, first against Pletcher for the Intercontinental Title and the Rumble itself. JZ didn't win the Rumble but retained his title. JZ would lose the belt at Elimination Chamber to Mistico. At Wrestlemania 1, JZ teamed with DJ Hero against the Syndicate in a winning effort, capturing the Tag Team Championships. The titles would be vacated a month later. JZ would compete in the first Championship Scramble at Summerslam but lost.

World ChampionEdit

At Cyber Vengeance, JZ was voted by the OCW Universe to face Joe Angelo for the World Heavyweight Championship. JZ would go on to win the belt by submission, the first ever submission victory in OCW. At Survivor Series, JZ and Joe Angelo were ambushed by members of The Ascension, Drew Spade and Ian Blaze. At Smackdown!, JZ and Angelo would face the two men inside a Steel Cage in a winning effort. JZ successfully defended the championship before being post-match assulted by Joe.

2nd OCW Run Edit

JZ would make his return at the 2nd Royal Rumble event in the Royal Rumble but, did not win. JZ would then defeat Gluckman at OCW NXT Takeover to qualify for the All or Nothing Ladder match later that night which was won by Johnny Extreme. JZ would then enter the NXT Championship series. He would defeat MCL in the semifinals to then be defeated by the eventual winner Mario Sanchez in a ladder match. It was announced that JZ would compete for the relaunched Intercontinental Championship at OCW Clash of Champions against Greg Savior and Archangel.
